The Process

We have a step-by-step process to guarantee you get exactly the piece of jewellery you've dreamed of. Everything is made at our studio so we have total control over the creation of your piece.

Consultation

Sit down with one of our designers and discuss your needs and wants. You may already have a concept for your piece, and we encourage you to bring in any pictures or drawings that inspire you.

Our staff are experts at design and will draw a number of sketches and provide options that will maximize the look. Let us show you how we can use your old gold and gems to create something exciting and new!

Design Approval and Estimate

Once you select your design, we finalize the details and measurements. We'll take your ring size and fill out a personalized job bag for your order. When the estimate and design are approved, we retain a deposit to begin work.

Custom Waxes - One of a Kind

For completely original designs, we prefer that you see the process part way through. Within days of sending your design into production, you will be contacted to come and view the hand carved wax before casting.

Fittings

Like a fine tailored suit, some pieces require a final fitting before the process is complete. For example, this step is often required when making a custom wedding band to fit exactly into an existing engagement ring.

Six-Step Polish - Finished to Perfection

Working from coarse files to fine emery paper, to fine polishing compound; our multi-process polishing leaves each piece with a mirror-like finish. This is always the most exciting and gratifying stage for you and for us! This is when your final payment is given and your new treasure goes home with you.
